Stanley Ward We are sorry to have to report that the Association's first chairman, Stanley Ward, passed away on Saturday 9th May 2009 after a short illness. He was 88. Stan was a flying instructor at Ipswich Airport for several decades, and will be remembered by many. If you would like to make a donation in Stan's memory, two charities have been suggested - the Aircrew Association (Contact address available ) and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
